This is one of the Tune Shepherds' sources.
Tunes printed from hand-engraved plates have survived hundreds of years, and the music was
often based on melodies played long before, and noted down in personal tune-books.
Sometimes we learn from what is thought to be a tune's first appearance in print,
or even from a hand-written page, if one has been found.
